G10 Personal Project Exhibition

The G10’s showcased the end-result of their 8-month project

On 29 March 2019 our G10 students showcased their finished product of their year-long project during the Personal Project Exhibition. The students had the opportunity to share their experiences with fellow students and family.

The Personal Project is the culminating MYP project that shows and requires the application of the skills which are developed through the Approaches to Learning (ATL’s) during the MYP years. It is the second year our G10’s have undertaken such a stringent and comprehensive project and we are very proud of what they’ve produced. Even though the Exhibition is an opportunity to showcase their end-result, it is the 8-month process leading up to the Exhibition that really tests and challenges our students in their final MYP year. The Personal Project is unique in that it requires students to choose a topic, based on personal interest, and apply prior knowledge with further research to achieve their goal.

The students used amazing creativity, determination, and balance to create products that they should all be proud of. The Exhibition itself was very well attended and it was a fantastic way to celebrate all the hard work of the students. Thank you to all who attended the Exhibition to learn about and celebrate our tenth graders' achievements. Special thanks to the faculty members who helped guide students on their journeys — and congratulations to the class of 2019 on your hard work!
