Ryan Kiefer

Ryan Kiefer teaches MYP Language Acquisition and DP English B at CISH. He is from Ohio, USA and has previously taught in Honduras, Chile, and Indonesia. This is his first year at CISH and his seventh overall. Ryan received his Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Spanish Language and Literature, as well as a Master of Arts in Cross-Cultural and International Education focused on second language acquisition, from Bowling Green State University. He has also obtained his Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) through the University of Nottingham, UK. Ryan enjoys guiding students in local and international competitions and clubs such as the World Scholar’s Cup and Model United Nations.

Ryan and his wife Nuning have two children, Theodore and Leroy, who will attend CISH this year. They have enjoyed their time in China the past two years and are excited for their kids to learn Mandarin and Chinese culture. Ryan and Nuning are both thrilled to be part of the CISH family and are looking forward to a great school year.
