Nuning Kiefer
EY Librarian
Nuning Kiefer is the Early years librarian. She has taught in IB World Schools for 9 years and for 15 years overall working in education. She has extensive experience in the PYP, MYP, DP programs and others curriculum.
Nuning is a life-long learner. She graduated with a Bachelor of Cultural Science specializing in French literature from University Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. She also has a degree in Bachelor of Law Science, and a Master of Management Education. She received diploma program in English Literature, she has a post graduates’ certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Languages (TEFL), post graduates in Primary Education and Special Need Education. She holds certificates in teaching, training from IB and other institution. Nuning is currently taking classes for librarianship and media specialist from Hongkong community college.
As an educator she believes teaching comprises many aspects, but the most important aspect is stirring the minds of students, letting their curiosity take them into learning, and supporting them to achieve their potential. Nuning enjoys helping young students develop their ATL skills and strongly believes in cultivating the IB Learner Profile from an early age.
