Holger Meinberg

Hello, my name is Holger Meinberg, and I am from Nuremberg in Germany. I received my PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from the nearby university Erlangen-Nuremberg. After that, I moved to another university, the RWTH in Aachen, for further research and to teach. I finally started to follow my true passion, teaching, and started teaching in Thailand. 

I was teaching for seven years, mainly in the Northeast of Thailand before moving to China, where I have been teaching for nine years. I spent my last seven years in Shaoxing, close to Hangzhou.

Then, I decided to take on a new challenge, and moved to Hefei to start teaching at CISH. I am happy and excited to be here and am looking forward to be a part of the of the team of an international school. I have always believed that learning how to learn is more important than what is being learned, and from my own experience, I know that learning is a lifelong journey.

In addition to teaching, I enjoy cooking and am interested in meditation, health and alternative healing.
