Heather Exum
Science Teacher
Heather Exum is a science and math teacher with 12 years of experience. She has taught overseas for 10 years in Panama, Vietnam, Germany and China. She has experience teaching 6-12 science, 6-10 math, IBDP, MYP, IGCSE and US AP and Common Core.
Her teaching style is a mix of classic lecture with a focus on inquiry and group work to assist student in learning 21st century skills and growing their emotional intelligence. It is very important to instill life skills in students and love of learning with a growth mindset. She strives to make each student feel at home and teach in a way that supports and challenges all the individuals in her class.
