Gregory Macur

Gregory Macur is the PYP Vice Principal of Early Years and Literacy Lead at CISH. He is from Lancaster in the UK. He has a Master’s in Education and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education with Qualified Teaching Status. He recently completed his UK school senior leadership license with UCL and is currently enrolled in his principal license. With approaching a decade in the education industry, Gregory has worked with all grade levels in Early Years and Primary. During this time he has held a range of leadership roles including Head of English, Director of Assessment and Grade Leader, working most recently in senior leadership with Nord Anglia. Gregory has developed a passion and belief in the inquiry-based, student-led learning process. Beyond this, he is an advocate of the power of reading, improved literacy and their impact on the whole student. Outside of school he is an internationally published educational author and researcher.
