Claire Kim

Claire Kim is DP Korean Language and Literature teacher of CISH.  This is her second year in CISH. 

She was born and raised in Seoul, Korea.  And she studied at Kyungbook National University in Daegu, Korea and has B.A. degree of Education, Economics, and Individual & Society.  She has a secondary teaching certificate and certified as a Reading and Writing instructor for secondary students.  She studied Management at Southern Illinois university in Carbondale, US. during undergraduate years, and Language and Culture at Tokyo international university in Tokyo, Japan after having 5 years working experience.

Language as a mother tongue is important to approach and understand culturally, socially, ethically and historically as well as language itself.  Her various studying and experience will help and grow our students more effectively and pleasantly.  She is truly excited our students can have much deeper understanding about Korean language and culture as one way to be talented global citizens.
