Dreams Come True - for Grade 12's at CISH
14 years ago, your mom and dad sent you to school for your very first day of learning and socializing. Today your mom and dad are beside you to celebrate the growth and skills you’ve gained to see those words – “Congratulations! We are delighted to offer you a place at our institution.”
As our grade 12s continue to receive acceptances to university and college, we want to take this time to congratulate that each grade 12 student has gained acceptance right into his/her first year of studies. Four of our students have accepted their offers to the following schools: EHL Swiss School of Tourism and Hospitality, ESSEC Business School, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
At CISH, we value our students’ individual aspirations and goals for education.

“I would like to share my experience for my university application. I received my acceptance from my dream school which is EHL Passugg. The most well-known hospitality school. It was very exciting! You will never forget that feeling. 12 years of study has been very tiring and at times extremely challenging, but I knew I had to be confident and brave.
Not just for my grades, but also my attitude. It is more important to expand and enrich yourself. For example, find a part-time job or volunteer. Find your unique selling points to get the attention of the admission team. ‘Chance favors the prepared mind.’ By Louis Pasteur. When I sent my acceptance letter to Mrs. White we had a video call and we celebrated together.”

Even though I knew the time zone difference between Taiwan and France, I was still sitting in front of my computer, constantly checking my email box with anxiety and concern. 7:00pm in Taiwan, the email that I was expecting the whole day eventually jumped out on the banner. However, I didn’t give much hope for it because I felt I didn’t perform well enough in the interview to receive the acceptance to my dream school. When I clicked to see the email, the big blue italic title first came into sight. “Congratulations and welcome to the ESSEC Global BBA!” For a moment, I couldn’t believe this was real. I felt on top of the world when I received the unconditional offer from tomy dream school. I also realized the honor and challenge to come. This is a good beginning. I called Mrs. White and she was so loud with excitement, she even shed a tear for my dream became true

I received the acceptance in class, so when I went home my parents and I danced in the kitchen. Mrs. White said she was dancing with us. My parents and I decided together that this is the best school to further my education and prepare for my future career.”
