MYP Trip to Yangshuo

Twenty CISH MYP students went on a five day school trip to Yangshuo from May 9-13. The students were challenged to participate in many activities that pushed them out of their comfort zones and were able to be risk-takers in the truest sense of the IB philosophy. The five days were packed with rock climbing, abseiling, biking, hiking, caving, camping and camp cooking. Additionally, students participated in a service project where they helped lay the floor in a facility that will allow students with disabilities to practise life skills like baking bread, making jams, and becoming more independent. Mr. Cochrane and Mr. Wasson were very impressed with all of our student who attended.
