Mandarin Parents Teatime - Chinese Reading Programme

Chinese Reading Programme

The Mandarin department has set up a systematic reading programme from PYP to MYP towards the requirement of Chinese A in the DP. 

The participants will be trained in critical-thinking skills, reflection skills, self-management skills and communication skills during this process.

Teachers will track students’ reading on a weekly basis and they will have activities to help discover their own deep thoughts in every unit related to the books that they read.

We have received a lot of positive feedback from parents in response to this tea-time. We think this kind of school and parent interaction can successfully prepare the students for the Chinese Language A course of the DP programme.
