CISH and CCSC University Fair 2018

On Wednesday October 17th 2018, CISH and CCSC jointly hosted our annual University Fair! Over 32 universities from around the world attended including schools from Canada, the US, UK, Germany, Switzerland and France. The university representatives provided detailed information to help our grade 9 to 12 students learn more about the variety of university options available to them. It was wonderful to see all of the programs offered by these schools, ranging from more “traditional” Engineering, Science and Arts programs, to the growing specialties in practical occupations offered by the Canadian colleges, and the integrated International Business programs in Europe offering placements and exchange opportunities. 

A big thank you to Wendy Yang of CCSC for not only helping to organize the fair, but also for acting as a liaison to the universities until their arrival. 

There was clear interest from our students as they were able to speak to the recruiters individually and learn more about their programs. It was wonderful to see students so invested and engaged in their own futures. There was a great turn out from parents this year, allowing our student ambassadors to help their fellow students and parents with translation to ensure that everyone was able to communicate effectively.

Overall the fair was a great success thanks to all the university representatives, students and parents who attended! We are already looking forwarding to next year!
