National Holiday Message 2022
Dear CISH Parents and Guardians,
On behalf of all staff at CISH, it is my great pleasure to send to you and your family best wishes as we are getting close for the October National Holiday.
欢度国庆 -huān dù guó qìng, “Enjoy the National Day Holiday”!
As a result of the National Holiday there will be no classes from Saturday, October 1st to Sunday, October 9th. All classes will resume on Monday October 10th.
We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for your support on our IB Evaluation Visit on becoming a 5-year old IB World School that took place last week. Without your support we would not have achieved this journey. Of course, it will be a few months until the final evaluation is sent back from IB.
In light of the Hefei Education Bureau’s latest notification on COVID travel restrictions for the upcoming National Holiday break, students at all schools in Hefei are strongly recommended to remain in Hefei during the break. The COVID Virus has not gone away yet. There are still a few places/areas in Mainland od China where COVID cases are confirmed. With the increased possibility of travel during the National Holiday, it would be safer for all CISH families to remain in Hefei.
If leaving Hefei is absolutely necessary, parents please write an email and send it to the head of school Mrs. Peggy Gorman-Mitchell at Peggy.Mitchell@cishefei.com and a copy of the email to our nurse Ms. Chen Shanshan at Shanshan.Chen@cishefei.com for approval before your departure. Please indicate your name, your child’s name and grade, travel destination, departure time, personal contact number, expected return time and other necessary information.
Parents are also obligated to report your travel to your communities upon returning to Hefei and follow the community requirements in regards to COVID related requirements. Students who leave Hefei can only come back to school after completing all the COVID related government requirements and providing the green healthy code and travel code along with a negative COVID test result within 48 hours prior to the time of returning to school.
Starting the evening of Thursday, October 6th, parents are required to submit health code and travel code of all parents, your child(ren) (if applicable), as well as other family members who share the same household as the student to the mini-program, either in the bus group for bus-students or in the class group for non-bus students, each day between 17:00 to 21:00, leading up to Sunday October 9th. After school reopens on Monday, October 10th, the submission will follow the regular cycle of Sunday to Thursday.

尊敬的各位家长和监护人，
我谨代表CISH全体员工，怀着愉悦的心情对即将到来的国庆节假期，向您和您的家人送以真诚的祝福。
国庆期间（10月1日~10月9日）我们是没有课程安排的，10月10日星期一学生返校，学校正常授课。
借此机会，由衷感谢您对上周IB评估访问的支持，至此我们学校是一所拥有5年历史的IB国际学校。没有您的支持，我们没有办法走到这一步。IB评估结果也会在几个月后送往学校。
鉴于合肥市教育局对国庆假期疫情防控出行的相关限制规定，强烈建议合肥市所有学校的学生在假期期间都留在合肥。新冠病毒还没有消失。中国仍有少数地方/地区有确诊新冠病毒病例。随着国庆期间出行可能性增加，所有CISH家庭留在合肥会更安全。
如果您必须要离开合肥，则需在出发前获得批复，请您在出发前发邮件给校长Mrs. Peggy Gorman-Mitchell Peggy.Mitchell@cishefei.com， 并抄送校医 Ms. Chen Shanshan Shanshan.Chen@cishefei.com， 请在邮件里标注您的姓名，孩子的姓名班级，旅行的目的地，出发时间，到达时间，预计返回时间，和其他必要信息。
家长有义务在返肥后向所在社区报备，并遵守社区的相关防疫要求。离开合肥的学生只有在完成所有与疫情防控相关的政府要求，并在返回学校前48小时内提供绿色健康码和行程码以及核酸测试的阴性结果后才能返回。
从周四，10月6日晚上开始，家长要求通过小程序提交双方家长，以及孩子和同住人的健康码和行程码，校车学生提交在校车群，非校车学生提交在班级群。时间是每天的17点至21点时间段直至周日10月9日。在周一上课开始以后，双码提交将还是回到原来的周日至周四常规要求。
