2018 CISH Halloween Celebrations!

CISH hosted a Halloween Celebration event for parents and students

A Spooktacular and Sinister Halloween celebration was had at The Canadian International School of Hefei, on October 30th, 2018!

Ghosts, ghouls, princesses, and superheroes filled the halls to share scares and screams of delight. The cafeteria served sugared fingers, pastry wrapped toes, slimy pasta, and pumpkin pies for lunch! Teachers and students tumbled, danced and shambled across the stage to grizzly songs and the sounds of a haunted afternoon of fun!

The Monster Mash costume parade filled the auditorium with howls of joy and fear! Students and guests enjoyed fantastic Halloween dances and songs performed by the Kindergarten students, teachers and special guests. The Best Decorated Halloween Themed Classroom Door prize went to Mr. Keven Smith’s and Ms. Lily’s Grade 4.1 class this year.

The Family Pumpkin Decorating Contest winner was William Chen from grade K1, and the money collected from all of the pumpkin contest entries will be donated to The ChunYu Autistic School of Hefei.

Finally, the students and parents had a blast visiting the special Halloween activities created by the teachers all throughout the terrifying halls of CISH! Slime making, three-dimensional pumpkin making, Pirates of the Caribbean Adventure, computer programming, obstacle courses, mask making, Halloween Origami, memory games, spooky lantern making, drama and dance, trivia, music, crafts and sharing spooky stories!

Great times for the CISH family this 2018 Halloween day will be remembered forever. Thank you CISH, the teachers, the parents and the students for the best CISH Halloween ever! We hope your nightmares end soon CISH, to give you enough time to prepare for next year!
