Tina Zhang

Xuanzi Zhang is the Mandarin Department head of Primary Years Program. She holds a high school teaching certificate of Chinese language and literature. Xuanzi graduated from Hongkong Polytechnic University with a Master’s degree in Chinese Linguistic. After graduation, she taught IB MYP and DP in International schools in Hong Kong and Beijing for 5 years. To seek a more culturally diverse environment, Xuanzi went to the United State and worked as a mandarin teacher in Washington University in St. Louis and Elon University.

Xuanzi came back to China in 2018 and continued her IB teaching career and joined CISH in 2021. She has developed a passion for teaching Chinese in IB system, and carries a teaching philosophy of “making learning fun”.
