Welcome students, parents/guardians and staff to the Canadian International School of Hefei. 

The Canadian International School of Hefei, is now in its fourth year of operation. We are very pleased to inform you that we are now authorized as an International Baccalaureate School for the Primary Years & Middle Years' programme. We are also a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate Diploma programme.  We are the only IB authorized school in Anhui Province, China. 

We have over twenty different nationalities within our student population.  Our teachers are qualified in their subject areas and hold authorized teacher licenses.  Many have Master’s and some hold Doctoral degrees. We have a teacher-student ratio of 1:6. Our teachers are all fluent in English, many are bilingual and in some cases even tri-lingual.

Our school promotes focuses on 21st century skills, content knowledge and expertise. We promote an interdisciplinary, thematic approach to learning. Our goal is to emphasize deep understanding that connects with real world challenges. Our students will be thoroughly prepared for University and life.
