Mika Allicer

Mika Allicer has been working in education for over ten years. She graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education with a major in Communication Arts in English from the University of the City of Manila in 2007 after spending two years studying mass communication. She conducted offline tutoring and online classes for Korean students in the Philippines for five years. Furthermore, she received a scholarship in 2013 to take part in a two-year internship program at the University for Science and Technology in Beijing (USTB), where she studied Chinese language and culture as well as intensive English training at Princeton English. The program focused on teaching language development and physical skills to children. She also taught English as a second language, music, arts, and drama at ICEE International Children's Ecological Education and other private training schools. She earned her ORFF Music Teacher Qualification (2016) and the International Montessori Teacher Preparation Certification (2018) in Beijing. Before moving to China, Mika completed a teacher training program, accent reduction training, and acting workshops, and obtained her TESOL certificate. Currently, she is pursuing a Master's degree in Arts in Education with a major in Early Childhood Education. At CISH, Mika has previously taught music in the Early Years program for Pre-K to K3. 
She loves music, exercise, chess, volunteering, and discovering new things. Mika enjoys traveling, and she is part of the Tripblazers program community as a travel expert.
