Jose Correia

Mr. Jose Antonio is a highly organized outcome driven and motivated professional teacher with solid experience. For the past eleven years, he has taught music classes from years 1-13 in America, Europe, Portugal and China. During this time, he has gained considerable experience in the CIE and IB programs. He is certified to teach for the Cambridge International Examinations IGCSE Music (0410), AS & A-Level Music (9703) and the International Baccalaureate Programme (IBDP) Music Categories 1 & 2.

Jose Antonio is fully qualified with a BA in Music Education & Performance from Berklee College of Music – Boston, and a Masters in Music Education from the University of Buffalo. Throughout his teaching career, he has been driven to help students achieve their very best, and strongly believes music has the power to change lives, and that it serves as a profound medium of personal expression. He has performed with many international artists and bands such as: Limahl – Kajagoogoo, Glen Hughes – Deep Purple, Chad Smith – Red Hot Chili Pepers, and Los Angeles rock band Mr. BIG
