Gareth Hood

I am from Johannesburg, South Africa. I have a Bachelor of Education Degree specializing in English and Historical Studies focused on senior phase year students. I also have experience teaching robotics and coding from when I taught in South Africa. I speak English fluently and understand both Afrikaans and Zulu. This is my first-year teaching abroad and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach at a such a prestigious institution. 

I am excited to assist and inspire students to become the most proficient global citizens they possibly can be. I feel that every student is unique in their own way and one of my core beliefs is that a students needs to be comfortable enough in the classroom to let their uniqueness shine through.
