Darren Bayotlang

Darren Bayotlang is a music teacher from the Philippines. He has been living and working in China for the past 12 years, and seven of those years teaching Art and Music in early years settings. Darren has obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, additional certification in early childhood education in the Philippines, and a TESOL certification with TEYL (Teaching English for Young Learners) specialization from Ontario, Canada. His teaching philosophy for early years truly encompasses the PYP Inquiry-based learning in all his lessons and how he teaches.
Darren's experience in teaching music stems from an inquiry into different music from various cultural backgrounds. He supports and motivates students to become lifelong learners, connect to their creativity, and be themselves.
