Ayana Najuma
MYP EAL Teacher
Ayana Najuma is in her first year as a MYP English Acquisition Teacher at CISH. She was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio; USA. Ayana received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama in 1999 and earned a Master of Education degree in 2008 from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Prior to coming to China three years ago, Ayana had been a teacher of students with exceptionalities for 15 years in Cincinnati.
Ayana is excited to be working with the CISH family this year. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, listening to live music, the performing arts, and spending quality time with family, friends, and her dog, Riley.
